Smooth. Safe. Long-Lasting.
Say goodbye to shaving, waxing, and irritation. Laser Spot’s laser hair removal treatment is customized for every skin tone and hair type, giving you real, lasting results with little to no discomfort.
How It Works
We use the most advanced laser systems available: the Candela GentleMax Pro Plus in our Manhattan location and the Alma Soprano Ice Platinum in Brooklyn. Each laser targets hair at the root to prevent future growth while protecting your skin with built-in cooling technology.
What to Expect
Most clients start noticing smoother skin after just a few sessions. Full results typically come after 6–8 treatments, depending on your hair thickness, growth cycle, and the area being treated. Smaller areas like underarms or bikini can take around 10 minutes, while larger areas such as legs or back can take up to 45 minutes.
Safety & Comfort
Both systems are FDA-cleared and proven safe for all skin tones. Treatments are virtually painless — most people describe it as a quick snap followed by a cool sensation.
Smooth skin, made simple.
Laser Hair Removal: Client Safety Guidelines
(Candela Gentle Max Pro Plus + Alma Soprano Ice Platinum)
We follow strict safety protocols to ensure every client receives the most effective and comfortable treatment possible. Please review the guidelines below before your appointment.
-
• Pause photosensitizing medications (including certain antibiotics) at least two weeks prior, unless otherwise directed by your provider.
• Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and spray tans for 1–2 weeks before your session to ensure an even skin tone and reduce the risk of irritation.
• Do not wax, tweeze, thread, or use depilatory creams for at least three weeks before treatment, the follicle must stay intact for the laser to work.
• Shave the area the night before your appointment so the laser can target the follicle directly.
• Arrive with clean, product-free skin and no makeup, lotions, oils, deodorant, perfume, or self-tanner.
• Clients should stop using retinol or tretinoin (retinoic acids) at least 1 week before laser treatments. -
• Avoid sun exposure for 1–2 weeks and apply SPF 50 daily on treated areas.
• Mild redness, swelling, or warmth is normal and usually fades within a few hours. A cold compress can help soothe the skin.
• Avoid hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and intense workouts for 24 hours.
• If any small blisters appear, do not pop them — use a thin layer of antibiotic ointment and allow natural healing.
• Begin gentle exfoliation after 3–4 days to minimize the risk of ingrown hairs.
• Shedding begins around 7–14 days post-treatment depending on the machine.
• You may shave as needed, but avoid waxing or tweezing between sessions.
